The Last Airbender 2 Movie in 2012 ?

The Last Airbender 2 Movie in 2012Of course The Last Airbender first part is a success (financial), but this is not the end for sure because The Last Airbender 2 movie the second part will be a success.

What is spectacular in The Last Airbender, in short: everything happens in a world in which the elements (water, earth, fire, wind) can be controlled by people known as "benders" (just as Captain Planet controlled the same elements:)) and the Bender - wire them started a war to get his hands on other items.

The only one who can stop this war is a little boy named Aang (Noah Ringer), the last Air Bender, but with much greater powers than those which only allow him to control the wind. Try to help some other kid's with special powers and together try to restore peace on Earth.

The Last Airbender 2 like The Last Airbender first movie seems a very nice fantasy movie with lots of spectacular special effects, with more action scenes and a little blah blah. The launch date for The Last Airbender 2 is not announced yet but could be in 2012. Of couse when the trailer for The Last Airbender 2 will be avaible for sure the trailer will be here.

I just recently started watching Avatar with my lil cousin, decided to watch the actual movie and even though I do not have an extensive history with the original, I was still disappointed. Agreed, was lost with name pronunciation as well as the lack of .... Emotion, whether it be comedic, anger, fear, etc on all accounts by each actor portrayal! My 7 yr old cousin warned me ' the movie isn't good and they didn't do it right!' It is a captivating series, and I hope there is a director who willrise up and take the reigns. This series has sooo much potential, ranked up there with the elite! But stories such as this cannot be 'cut' or shortened for the sake of time and/or $$$! Hope these comments get notice and a new director takes the lead ;)

I watched the movie before the series, and thought it was pretty good. After watching the series, still thought it was still a good movie and did a nice overview of what happened in the first season. Can't expect an entire season's events to be condensed into one movie, but for the time constraint it was good.

A few years ago i was exited to see the series. I watched every little episode and i still do, I really hope the last airbender 2 comes out in 2012, it was one of my favorite moves although they left out allot. Who is Uung? I only know a Aang... I was dissapointed although it was still a great movie. I cant wait to see part two!

I just watched the first air bender AGAIN, and told my 15 year old that I hope they are working on a sequel which prompted me to search online. I am getting mixed information, but I hope paramount approves the second one, I thought it was good, and the visual effects were pleasing. Though my son who follows the series said the name was pronounced wrong Aang not Uung? and there a few other things off, but I am not a series watcher, so my view may be different from those who do watch the series. BUT I LOVED IT!

Oh sweet goodness!! The names are pronounced properly in the movie like proper Chinese or Japanese. They aren't butchered into Americanese since we, like the British, can't pronounce anything.

No, I literally want to cry just thinking that this guy is ruining this spectacular series further. That movie was horrendous not only did it not match the story WHAT SO EVER. But the acting, pronunciation, and effects were terrible as well. So please stop torturing the real fans of the show. Sorry to be such a critic, but it is a subject that every fan I know and I feel strongly about.

The last Airbender Movie is gr8 I tel you people because since I had not watched the Series but I follow the story line,In The Movie Aang Masters Air bending as it is his birth element bt he must learn to master other elements such as Water,Earth,Fire to be a complete AVATAR. So in 2012/13 Movie I hope it don't take much of a different Angle bt a continuation of Mastering Earth,Fire as Water was mastered in Part 1 ...

Avatar is awesome. Absolutely love it watch every episode, from book 1 water to book 3 fire. Korra is awesome too seen all of book 1 wind. Now that Korra is over, hopefully until season 2 I need something. Either the next movie or the next season of Korra I'd prefer it be the movie, been waiting a long time for it to come out. On a different subject, the reason why they say Uung in the movie is because that's how it would be pronounced in chinese. Just like the person said in the other blog we butcher everything it's the americanese that pronounces it Aang. It would have been nice if they would have picked one pronunciation, it just seems dumb to pronounce it both ways!

I agree the movie should have been a little better. Simply by making it longer probably would have done that. Gotta go watching TLA Book 1

I watched the first movie because I thought it would be cool and different than a lot of the trash being made these days. I had never watched the series, but I loved the movie sooo much that as soon as I got the chance I watched all of the anime episodes. I must say they did an excellent job portraying the first season and I have been anxiously awaiting the next movie's arrival. I don't usually go to the theatres anymore because too expensive for my college student budget but this is one I will pay to see.

I love the cartoon series and always watched it so i know how the story goes..when i watched the movie, i didnt care much about the details coz i already know..i just expect the character to come to life! but then..
1. prince zuko supposed to be handsome n have fair skin!
2. Sokka supposed to be funny n corny, n he is NOT the handsome one from the series, Zuko is!
3. Katara should have shown more attitude, her character is annoying from the series but thats why its fun to watch her
4. Aang supposed to be playful, cheeky n smile a lot!
.....i didnt see those in the movie, a bit dissapointing, but hey, u cannot expect them to be exactly the same, series is series, movie is movie..love the series, love the movie..excited to watch the 3 movies to come of all the books!! DO MAKE THEM PLEASE!! IM BEGGING HERE!!

its not that easy to crammed everything one season into a movie.. i understand that, but i hoped the movie would be much longer, i dont mind watching 2 hours movie. i love the series n know how the story goes so didnt care bout the detail coz i already know, i just expect the characters to come to life! but then..
1. Prince Zuko supposed to be japanese n handsome!
2. Sokka is supposed to be funny n corny, n NOT the handsome one!
3. Katara should have shown more attitude, she is annoying in the series, thats why she's fun!
4. Aang supposed to be playful, cheeky n loves to smile!
...i didnt see those in the movie, a bit dissapointing..but u couldnt expect everything to be the same right? series is series, movie is movie, lets just live with that..anyway IM EXCITED FOR THE REST 3 MOVIES FROM THE BOOKS! PLEASE MAKE THEM, IM BEGGING HERE!!

I never saw the animated TV series and so, I didn't have that to compare. So, based on the movie itself, I LIKED IT! I'm excited to see a sequel. I will say though, at the beginning of the film I was a bit lost piecing the story together, but as it went along I began to figure it out. I suppose the writer may have assumed the success of the TV series would lend itself to having to unfold the background as much as it did. That, I understand. But, by the time I got to the end of the film, I was happy with it. I really thought the effects were top rate, but with a little better direction and lengthenging the film, I see a sequel being much better. So, let's get on with it!

I have seen many of the episodes and only watched the movie today because i had heard from so many that it wasnt very good. I have to disagree, however. I thought that the movie was quite good. Yes it didn't have every detail from many episodes in book 1 but it did keep many important ones. This made it so that you were able to keep on track to where the story was going but not make the movie so long that you wont want to sit through the whole thing. It is true though that it lacked some neccessary emotion, especialy the comedic portion, but i thought it was still a very good movie and maybe they will work more on the emotional part in the next movie(s). Can't wait for TLA 2.
